Art Direction and Set Design
Focusing on the golden era of Anatolian rock, this edition traced the fusion of traditional Turkish folk music with Western psychedelia and protest culture of the 1960s and 70s. The evening unfolded as a journey through migration, political unrest, and sonic experimentation, where heritage and rebellion met on the dance floor.
Through scenography and material choices, I brought this cultural intersection into the space. Textures, color, and spatial layering echoed the raw energy and hybridity of the genre, transforming the white cube into an atmosphere that held both nostalgia and resistance.
