“Lingua Planta offers plant lovers a new perspective on greenery with these  molecular build perfumes with essential oils that come from nature. A journey of attention has been put into finding the finest aromatics to ensure a high-quality product that is also friendly to earth. All Lingua Planta products are all hand-blended in the Netherlands, artisinally made with natural essential oils, ecologic where possible and with our love for nature and all things natural in our mind, heart, and noses.”

For this series, we explored how scent might be translated into image. Working with found materials, textures, colours and compositions, each still life was built around the character and atmosphere of a different fragrance.
Rather than illustrating the perfumes literally, we approached each composition as a sensory interpretation, allowing natural materials and their textures to evoke the spirit of each scent. The series became an exploration of still life as a space where the visual and olfactory can meet.
